Hi. I have a Yamaha HTR-5730 receiver and I use a playstation 2 to watch DVD movies. However, I can never get my receiver to read digital audio signals. When I watch movies such as Star Wars Episode 2, which is recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1 EX and DTS 5.1 ES, my receiver says its receiving an analog signal and it uses PCM. The DTS symbol will never light up on my receiver during the movie and if I press the 5.1/6.1 button to turn on either Dolby 5.1/Matrix 6.1/DTS ES 5.1/ the only options are Auto and Off. I've owned the receiver for the past 2 weeks, and since then I've only been able to watch movies with Pro Logic II.
I use an optical cable to connect my PS2 to my receiver.
Can someone please help me with this.
Thanks
Tony

Also, even though I set up my receiver to have 5 speakers, only the Left and Right (front) speaker symbols are lit up on the receiver. Even though sound comes out of all of them....
