  1. I have a movie that is in a .bin file and has a .cue file with it. I used the guide in this site to burn a bin/cue with VCDEasy (https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/133785.php), using the "Burn a CUE or TOC CD image" tool under "CD Tools." I have the latest version of VCDEasy, v2.0.2 (commercial). After successfuly burning the file without any errors, I played the movie on my DVD player. The problem that I noticed was that the picture was always shaking up and down nonstop and the words "PBC On" displayed on the screen for five seconds in the beginning. However, the sound was perfect. I don't think the PBC has anything to do with my problem, since there aren't any chapters in the file anyway. When I played the .bin file on my computer using a .bin player, VideoLAN VLC Media Player, everything was fine, no shaking. The latest version of VCDEasy makes it very simple to just load the CUE file and burn it to a CD, without having any options to worry about. Is there something that I need to tweak in the VCDEasy settings that I don't know about, or could it just be a DVD player problem (even though the DVD player supports VCD and SVCD)? By the way, the titles of the bin and cue files only have the word "VCD" in them, while the folder the files came in had the word "SVCD" followed by "-Video CD". Ex. "vcd.bush.bin"/"vcd.bush.cue" and "Bush.SVCD-VideoCD" (folder name). Please help me. Thanks.

  2. Try burning the bin files in some other software - like Nero etc. If problem persists, try playing in your friend's DVD player. Try to corner the problem before actually finding its solution.

  3. It could be that its wrong format and your TV doesnt support that format. If you have an NTSC TV and trying to play a PAL disk you could experience problems like that, but usually in black and white or with very distorted colors.

  6. Guys, does these VCDs play ok in the PC? Try to play them with PowerDVD or something, if it works in PC it is a PAL/Ntsc problem.

Then I dont know, all i could think off when a new burner does the same as the old one did is that Pal/Ntsc problem is most likely. VCDs in wrong format will behave a little different than wrong format DVDs, with SVCD i dont know, never tried PAL SVCD on NTSC TV.
I know it played fine in JS1113s PC, and you said it was your burner and then it wasnt anyway, so i still think its a PAL/NTSC problem for one or the both of you I would love to blame Nero, but thats too unlikely even for Nero.
