New to the Forums ........

I have the RCA UltimateTV for DirecTV -- where I can record two programs via DirecTV at the same time -- the Digital TV Recorder .... Isn't there a way that I can extract that video stored onboard to the computer in MPG, etc ? I know it uses Linux and saves them on disk as MPG and I "thought" I saw somewhere a way to get it off the box. Any suggestions all ?
