hey ppl, i usually buy my media from supermedia.com free shipping and at a total of 4 transactions im satisfied and see no reason to go anywhere else. BUT, i need dvds right now to get rid of all this data and supermediastore.com has no more RITEK dvdsd

anyways, i would like for people to compile a list of ONLINE STores that are reliable to shop at. I would hope ppl would only post about a store they personally used 3 or more times. hopefully we can make this a sticky.

for me, i say www.supermediastore.com is a good place to shop. i've purchased 100 and 50 pack packs of DVDs. no problems thus far.

NewEgg is good. More than a hundred DVD-R discs purchased and pretty satisfied. Great site layout, impressive but sometimes slow support, fast shipping (though unfortunatly with FedEx), good expensive media, bad cheap media.

    www.allmediaoutlet.com

Only bought DVD-RWs from them. Pretty satisfied.

  4. Newegg.com now sells riteks, I think the price was good and free shipping last I looked. I've bought many many time from newegg.com for PC parts when building new systems or upgrading one. Never had a problem with them. I did have a bad system board, rma was no problem the first time, and a year latter they excepted the same system board for a second rma with no problems or questions!! Can't beat that for support. I also get all my orders normally in 3 days or less, central USA here.

Bought cheap disks and cases from shop4tech.com and was happy several times. Got what I ordered and it arrived safely everytime. Been awhile since I bought there.

Rima.com I bought from several times also, happy with them also. Couple stacks of ritek printables, ritek G04, cases, got good stuff and ordering again in a couple days.

About the only 3 places I deal with that sell DVD R disks for a good price I would trust. The rest the places I buy from don't sell DVD R or are to high priced on them.

Another vote for Newegg. I've never bought media from them (I bought 100 dvd-r a year ago and haven't used them all yet. Ain't I a freak?) but I've bought tons of other stuff. Not a single disappointment.

Wherever you decide to shop, I can't recommend Reseller Ratings enough. I discovered them right after I bought "Nero 6" and got completely burned. Five minutes there can save you a big headache later on.

  7. haven' bought any discs from them but all of my computer hardware stuff I bought from allstarshop.com and haven't had a problem. Normally ships the same day. Never had to return anything so I don't know how well they handle that.

  8. RIMA.COM - about the best online store I've dealt with for anything. They ship immediately- tracking # in about 2 hours sometimes.
Excellent customer service, very helpful, willing to include samples.
A+++, and of course great prices and fair/actual shipping.

  10. Supermedia and shop4tech have been good for me.

I just saw that amazon is now selling ritek. I will try them the next time I order. Free shipping on orders over $25 & no sales tax saves a few bucks.

I've ordered 50-pack of DVDRs on a Wed evening, they arrived 2 days later(Fri), even when using the free shipping method. Everything was perfect, the product works great, billing was correct, no problems at all. Was very pleased at that 2-day shipping speed.
    Very happy shoppping with supermediastore.com

  14. I've only ordered from Rima once. They had a good selection of Taiyo Yuden and Prodiscs as well as other inexpensive accessories. I picked up a 50-pack of 8-disc binder sheets for $12, I think.

My only complaint was that it took about 2 work weeks to receive my stuff. That's not a real big deal, but was kind of annoying as I was running at of media at home.

ordered 25pack dvd-r's memorex(prodiscso3) from newegg.com, shipping was good no problems.

ordered 50 pack of prodisc's dvd-r's from supermediastore.com, problems with shipping, they gave an incorrect shipping address to ups, other than shipping prices are good.

Gonna try buying from rima.com because wasnt very happy with the shipping from supermediastore.com.

I've bought a lot of Riteks from Shop4tech in the last year (at least 600 in orders of 100@). Never any problem even when I had to return some.

Also ordered TYs from Rima.com and Riteks from Newegg. No problems there either.
