I'm creating a vcd with MPEGs that are not vcd compilant.

    So , when i hit create vcd , videopack 5 re-encode my video to vcd 1150kbits , and don't want this .

how can i bypass this process and burn the mpeg anyway.

    --------------

If i made this in a SVCD project it works fine , videopack don't re-encode the mpeg , but my dvd player don't play svcd.

so that's why i need this in a vcd project.

    -------------

if there's any dll that you know i can delete or something to make this process invulnerable, that will be appreciated.

  2. I don't have any experience with Videopack 5...maybe soon

    Here's another way using Nero:

I don't know why you want non-vcd compliant mpegs burnt in the VCD structure but anyways if you don't care about the compatibility of the VCD (1150 kbits)playing on standalone DVD players then you could just use Nero's VCD template to burn the CDR.

When Nero ask to re-encode the mpegs just turn off the feature and continue with the burn.

Tried this when I didn't know anything about TMPEnc or Nero's native mpeg encoder plug-in. Thought I made a coaster but the funny thing is it actually played on my Pioneer 343.

    I don't want non-compilant mpegs.

The problem is that the video is variable bitrate (constant quality )

is 110 min in a small mpeg file ( you got it? )

so i don't want to use nero , because i want menus , entry points , and stuffs.

    you know ?

    whatever ...

guys let me know if it's possible to fix this issue.

    thanks

"If i made this in a SVCD project it works fine , videopack don't re-encode the mpeg , but my dvd player don't play svcd."

Don't know yet if that can be disabled.

But a VCD that is non-compliant (variable bit rate is non-compliant) is called "XVCD".

    An SVCD uses Mpeg2 files.

If VP5 in SVCD mode dosen't re-encode, then you're still making an XVCD. The important thing is that your player can play the files.

    Just do some testing.

    You don't understand .

I need to create a VCD structure not a SVCD estructure.

if i add the mpeg in a svcd project , videopack don't reencode anything .

But if i create a vcd project , of course videopack try to help me re-encoding my mpeg-1 files to make it compatible with my dvd player.

Is to hard to understand ?

    ---------------------

NOTE : Guys i need solutions not people talking bullshit .
If you don't have Videopack 5 , just let it go.

First of all, I do have VP5. Paid $499 for it.

Second, what I was trying to tell you is that if you put an mpeg 1 file in your project and you're using the SVCD template, and VP dosen't re-encode the file, IT'S STILL AN MPEG1 file!!!

If that dosen't help you, please don't attack me for it.
    I didn't write the program.

i'm agree with you , but that's not a problem for me.

The problem is that i'm using a vcd template and i'm using a VBR MPEG file .

    so what happend ?
R> videopack don't accept VBR for vcd , i mean has to be 1150 kbits . So videopack re-encode the "VBR MPEG File" to
    "constant bitrate 1150kbits"

If i do this in NERO , nero don't re-encode my MPEG file , i mean , i just hit burn and that's all. Nero is not checking my files to see if they are compatible or not for vcd players.

    ------

I'm from Venezuela and i think that my english is not to bad at all.

So ... cut the bullshit and give solutions. If you can't ... just let it go.

    ----
I think this issue is to complex and hard to understand for some people.

    whatever...

  10. Well because it's a XVCD it reencodes it. I say ditch it, and burn with VCDImager, or use the Easy version to make menus. I prefer VCDImager because whatever it is VCD or XVCD or even mpeg2, it'll burn make a bin/cue anyways.

    Burn with Fireburner or CDRWin.

    MPEG1 VBR = XVCD
    MPEG1 CBR 1150 kilobits 224 audio = VCD
If anything is changed in the standard VCD template (resolution, birtare, audio quality) it is a XVCD, and a lot of DVD players don't like that.
