Hello, I´m an VCD-Newbie with the following problem:
I wan´t to create a VCD with an mpg-movie. After the end of the movie a still (704x576) should explain that the viewer has to change the cd.
I´m using Nero Ver. 5.5.
Problem: After the end of the movie nothing happens. The still will not be shown. I set the break to 5 seconds without any success. When choosing the still-track manually my vcd-player shows the still corectly!
What to do??
PS: Sorry for my very bad english.

I believed that if you make a movie VCD, you cannot put a still picture (JPEG) after it and expect the DVD player to display the still picture after the video.
Either still pictures or video clip, not both.
However, there are ways to do what you want to achieve:
1) you can convert still picture into a small MPEG file to burn after your video clip (you can also join the video clip with this MPEG file before burning)
2) use video editing softsare to add the still picture at the end of your source video (assumed to be AVI), before converting the new AVI to one MPEG.
The first method is much easier if you already got your video in MPEG.
