    Have just seen my DVP-NS400D is not SVCD compatible, so am now looking to try XVCD, how do I do this, and is the quality better than svcd, I have an edited AVI, but how should I convert and burn using nero5.5+, I'm new to this and have so far only managed a very poor quality vcd.

    In the columns to the left under How To, you will find the neccessary guides to produce a XVCD. This is a very good site for much info. Good Luck
