I have a DVD-R with a VOB file that is corrupted. It stops playing on my standalone and computer. I have tried to rip it to HDD but it stops half way through. I have tried DVD rescue, isobuster,Virtual Dub with no luck. Any bright ideas? Is there a program that can repair VOB's?
Thanks.

if you cant even copy it to your hard drive -- your certainly not going to be able to fix it .
best bet to is to play it in a stand alone (if you can) and capture it .
(edit -- i notice you say it doesnt play in stand alone either -- pretty well SOL at ths point) ...."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
You could try creating an image with Alcohol 120% and set it to skip read errors. Expect it to take a long time. Once it's through you can mount the image and copy from there. You should also expect it to be very corrupted but you might be able to cut the bad parts out with Womble MPEG2 VCR.
Just a thought. The whole thing could be a total waste of time.
