    i was told that you can use a dreamcast to play old arcade games like mame does for the comp but i have looked a little but i am confused about the whole thing. my friend wants to use his dreamcast to play mame roms on it please help.

    DC Emulation is another good site to check out.

    As for the DC MAME emulators, I believe they only work with the smaller roms. I don't think any of the Neo-Geo roms work well.

    you need to make a rom list...pain in the ass. not worth the time. and i hope you own the rights to the games you're trying to play.

    Not if you use Dreamcast Factory. It makes the process pretty easy. You can make rom sets for a bunch of different emulators. I mainly use it for making self-booting GypPlay mpeg-1 cd's.

    yeah it is.
    Bleemcast is awesome hough... improves PS1 graphics, try Gran Turismo 2.
