    Dear Friends,

I want to make a Interactive VCD of 88 Minutes.

Since many years we are Authoring Interactive VCDS(With Menus). We are using FutureTel(Encoder)and Videopack4(Authoring).We Make Interactive VCDS which has multiple Menus where we can select Scenes, songs,Special fetures etc.

Since Videopack is an old SW we dont have Drivers for latest Writers which do Overburning such has Plextor,LiteON etc.I can make Image in Videopack which becomes Raw File. And SWS like NTI who does Overeburning dosent recognise that Image.

We have made a VCD of 88Mins using Nero and Plexter but it was without Multiple Menus.

Can someone suggest how do i make a VCD of 88mins with Multiple Menus using Videopack4 or any other way.I will be better with Videopack since i know that SW very well.

Please take out some time and help.

    Thanking you.

    Zerohash.

I think VCDEasy is worth switching to. There you can burn 88 minutes VCDs and also SVCDs. Downside is that there are no hotspots only numbered menues (ok for me) and making slideshows doesnt have the same options, especially if you want to add music over a number of stills.

Good interactive menus can be done with VCDeasy, however it takes a bit of effort to get it to work the first time, then you can copy the result to subsequent disks. The down side is that is its got a drop down list box interactivity that is slower to learn than some form of visual flow interface would.

In addition to the numeric keypay, VCDEasy uses Previous, Next, Default and Return. I use Previous and Next to nagivate thru the menu, Default to enter the item and return to jump back to the menu. You can imitate the DVD style by using separte images for each menu aciton, but its slower, as it has to load an entire image.

zerohash as far as I know there is only one way to make VideoPack 4 images usable in another burning program, and its not a pretty solution. You will need to purchase a version of Winoncd. You will be able to import the raw image that Videopack creates into winoncd, then export to a c2d image. Then you can use the free CDMage to convert the c2d image into a bin and cue. From there you have many options to use to burn it. You could use the free DVD Decryptor or the very good, but not free, CDRwin. Both have very good support for newer burners.
