  1. I burned a SVCD with 12 JPEG files plus a video track. I could play it under WinDVD on my computer but it was not recognised in a standalone DVD player (which claims to support SVCD).

Is it because I mix the picture files and video track together? The Nero software did not reject that when I try to authorise though.

    thanks

You player may not support homemade vcds. What player do you have?

    I'm not post-whoring... I'm just posting stupidly.

  3. Did you create a Menu for your SVCD with Nero? I've found that they don't work.

Try playing the SVCD in your DVD player, and if it just sits there, select 1 (track 1) and see if it plays then. If so, next time don't use Nero to make a menu.
