You pre-ordered in Jan. and if it is upgrade it is released at Feb. 16. No change there. Maybe you just misunderstood something. Send me PM if you want to discuss this.

Anyway it is not reason why I created this post I will try to add and collect here tricks and tips on PS9. Like in the old one.

    Hi DonPedro,

Went out on the limb and bought Studio 9 and a 2.8GHZ Intel P4 with 512 of memory and hopefully I can output to DVD which I was not successful at all with Studio 8 and an old Athlon...always rebooted while rendering and never got done.

Anyway, my question, is I have Hollywood FX that I bought on sale when I had Studio 8, I think it was version 4...Can I use this in Studio 9...

I have not installed Studio 9 yet and maybe will do so over the weekend.

thanks and looking forward to Studio 9...

I believe that Studio 9 uses Hollywood FX 5 so I don't know whether your earlier version will install aside the limited version 5 it comes with.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

  9. I had Plus version for Studio 8 too. You need to install it before you install version 9 and it will get automaticaly upgraded to version 5.

    Thanks

That is what I was saying. Install FX first and then v9.
