  1. Hello,
I am fairly new to all of this, I have an iomega super dvd writer, and an ATI all in wonder 64mg Radeon Graphics Card. I have played around with ripping my movies,, the ones of off the vhs worked great, but the ones from dvd, i cannot view them with the ati player,, it stops on the region id. I used 321 studios to rip the movie Star wars attack of the clones". But can't play it in either machine. I have burned this image to dvd, and it plays fine in the computer and on stand alone players,, but the image itself will not play
The eventaul idea is to put my movie collection on the server, in an image format, which is hooked up to a tv with display out. I like having the exact DVD with menues,, etc avaliable when playing,, and space isn't a concern on my network,, but I can't seem to get the ati cards to read the ripped movie. I took the files that 321 studio gave me,, and made an dvd image in nero, then saved it as an iso format. then loaded deamon tools, and had ati play it. the disk after burning works fine in the dvd drive, but the image will not play in ati.
any thoughts about what I am doing wrong ?

  2. Go to your System Properties (Shortcut is Windows Key + Pause/Break Key) > Hardware > Device Manager > then go to DVD / CD-ROM Drives and get the properties on "General DVD-ROM Scsi CdRom Device" then go to the DVD Region Tab and set it to your appropriate region. This is the default name for Daemon Tools' virtual drive.

    This may solve your issue.
