HelloI realize that this question has been probably asked to death, but I searched through the forms a bit and looked through the FAQ and found really nothing satisfactory to help me.
My problem is simple, I took a DIVX file, ran it through the fixer, stripped the audio track and ran it through TMPGenc (default VCD template for NTSC Film) and got a nice VCD compliant MPEG-1 file. I used Nero to burn the VCD and plopped it into my DVD player and it plays with no problems. Sure, it plays, but some bits are cut off! Most noticable are the subtitles of which you can only see about a half. I realize that this has something to do with the Advanced Settings -> Aspect Ratios and I would like someone to help me since experimenting would mean wasting a lot of CDs and I'm not rich enough to make myself a bunch of coasters ^_^
Thank you![]()
