Hi all, This is my first post in here, so please be gentle
I've got my head around coding avi's from avi to 1 disc kvcd's, but now i want to put more than one episode on a disc. So, what i need is a menu at the start, which will have 3 pictures (1 of a shot of each episode). Then i want to be able to move around using the arrows on my standalone dvd player to select one.

    1: Is this possible?
2: Is there a guide for this?
    3. Am i thick? lol

I dont want chapters, i just want each picture to be able to be clicked, and then move to a certain point on the disc. (where the matching episode starts)

    Thanks in advance peeps, Steve

It's been a while since I've made any VCDs but yes you can add a menu.
I use VCDEasy(https://www.videohelp.com/toolstoolsearch=vcdeasy&section=&orderby=Name&listby=Section&c...uthorfeatures=) to author my VCDs and make menus. You may want to check out the following two guides:

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/84327.php

    and / or

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/104503.php

on how to do this. I learned how to do it from the first guide listed.

  3. Also, DVD Movie Factory 2 from Ulead does a nice job creating VCD's and VCD menus. It's payware though, whereas VCDEasy is free.

  4. Remember, though, NO VCD will allow you to use the arrow keys to navigate a menu that you have created. You'll have to use either the number keys or (with slightly more complicated authoring) the [<< or >>] keys on the remote.

Good point. I forgot to mention that in my first post. The menus that I've authored using VCDEasy are selected by the number keys.
