  1. Ok, am going out of my mind. I have just exchanged my Dazzle for a newer version. This time I am not losing any frames after I stop capturing anything. But Video is starting on average 124 ms before audio. Below are my Capturing Specs:

    720X480
    MPEG2
    5 mbps
    16 bit stereo
    48 KHZ

Alright what I wanna do is just sync these babies together. I am going to have multiple files I am gonna join, thats when they become a problem. I have no problem with sync if its one or a couple of vids joined, but more than that it becomes noticable that it isn't in sync. I wanna demux the Vid. Then edit the Audio and vid so it is exactly same length. Does Virtual Dub have a plug-in for MPEG2. The only reason I ask is because everywhere I have read says its a good program, but doesn't support mpeg2. So I demux the vid and get MPA and M2v files. Any thing that can be accurate enough to detail I would like to know about. Any help would be appreciated, thanx

  3. Trade that Dazzle thing for a Canopus ADVC100 and use it with Scenalyzer to capture. I use this equipment and never drop frames and can import into Premiere, do my edits then export audio and video seperate. I create a Dolby Digital track from my audio, encode my video with TMPGenc (DvD compliant), then use a DvD authoring program that accepts elementary streams. I get excellent quality from all my captures and never have sync problems!
