  1. I have become very proficient with VCDEasy v1.1.5.2, and am extremely impressed with the results as well. My photos always look clear, the interface of the program is flawless, and I never have problems playing the SVCD's in my pioneer dv-333 dvd player. Now, my question...

Does the 1.1.7.2 version of VCDEasy include the ability to add audio to the SVCD? I have used the trial version of memories on tv (I like the ability to add audio wav files, but the picture quality isn't nearly as good as with VCDEasy, plus, I couldn't care less about all the stupid transition and pan and scan crap). It would be really cool if the new version of VCDEasy included audio capability. Also, if it does, is it wav, MP3, cda, wma, all of the above, none of the above, ???

I know this isn't going to come out right, but I don't like making a "movie" out of my JPEG's (as such with slide show movie maker and memories on tv). I like the way VCDEasy just puts the photo on the screen, and isn't worried about making a bunch of frames, 29.97 NTSC / 25 PAL, you know what I mean!

Also, the 1.1.7.2 might not be new at all, but it would be an upgrade over my current version.

Maybe a little bit offtopic, but Ulead DVD Picture Show 2.0 can make slide shows at full still picture resolution on VCD or SVCD if the transition effects are disabled (and then the pictures are not encoded as video) and it is possible to add background music to the slideshows. So it is possible to do it but I don't know if it possible with VCDEasy.
