Making A Cd-r with Nero so i Can play it on my dvd player?

Hey can anyone help me!
Im trying to make a cd playble on my dvd payer.
i tired making it with nero but i keep getting an error, i tried with a sony,JBL and Toshiba.

one key thing is if you followed the info on the site here and made a vcd that is compliant, then the next thing is whether the dvd player will recognize it. With all the flavors of dvd players you'll also find that:

A. The player will not read cdr or cdrw media (many toshiba players fall into this area, especially older ones).

B. They don't support vcd at all (my old emerson wouldn't)

C. Also some will read cdr or cdrw but not both, I've seen a few players like this.

did you check the dvd player list on the left, to see
if the players you tried are compatible?

also you keep getting an error with nero burn or with the players you've tried?

I keep getting errors with the dvd players.
im not sure but mayeb im not making them right?
teh dvd player(Toshiba) is a new one.

if you leave the vcd compliant feature on and drop an mpeg into nero's vcd template, then if there are no windows that pop up referring to non-compliant. then you should be fine.
key word, should. LOL.

it does sound like the player itself doesn't recognize the disc. did you check the dvd player compatibility list on the left?

are you making a svcd or a regular vcd? and which nero template are you using to burn it?

I think it was the dvd becasue i cheked the comp list and it wasent compatible, so that might have been it but im not sure yet i need to get my hands on another dvd player.

What are you talking about templates?

sorry there. when I said templates, I was referring to how you setup up nero, if you choose to burn as svcd, vcd, etc.

on the compability list, read some of the comments made about the player, if there are any. sometimes you'll find that a specific media might work with your player.

Well until i get my hands on another dvd player i cant realy test anything out cause if i make one im not gonna know if i made it right or not.
