    I just bought a new computer and it came with a Samsung DVD/CDRW bundled with Nero. I also have an external HP CDRW. Nero wont recognize it! When I try to choose the HP as the drive that I want to write to a message pops up that tells me to buy a version that will also recognize the HP. I hate to complain, but I just dropped over $1100 for this setup. Is there anyway to turn this version I have into a fully functioning version without futher spending?

    Looks like the Nero version bundled with the Samsung recorder is an OEM version that only works with Samsung hardware. I wonder what happens if you upgrade with the latest Nero (5.5.5.1) from http://www.nero.com/en/download.htm

    Edit: upgrading will probably not work, but there is a solution, see also this post: http://www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=62960&forum=1
