I have created a XVCD, mpeg-1, 1700 bitrate. Quality is fine in my Sony DVP-NS400D but the time counter is running too fast. When you actually saw 1 minute of film, the counter shows 1:30 or something. Is there a way to solve this before burning the XVCD to CD, some synchronize software or so?

It's completely normal for that to happen. I'm not sure if there's anything that you can do about it.

I agree. And not only does it do this in a standalone DVD player but also if using the DVD player in your computer.
