Hi there,

I have been running some test capture/SVCD burns using InterVideo's WinDVDCreator Gold 2 (trial version) and so far all test SVCDs I have created have looked great but have had no sound. The source MPEG2 file (captured using WinDVDCreator's own SVCD profile) has sound when played on the computer. I am still using the trial version of WinDVDCreator which is limited to capturing 10 minute clips. I guess its possible that it also prevents burning sound onto SVCDs but that seems kind of far fetched.

Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

Forgot to mention that I'm capping using a Avermedia DVD EZMaker PCI (BT878 chip) and am capturing from an analog camcorder with mono audio. I connected the single RCA cable from the camcorder to one of the two stereo leads on the sound card RCA to mini-jack adapter (left channel I think).

Regards,
