  1. your right,avi and divx files dont come out that great but ive finally got the tmpgenc and tmpgenc dvd authored ready to burn
    tmpgenc dvd has a burner section,
    Q: does it do a better burn job than nero will?

  2. I very much doubt it. I would just keep the speed down to 2x to make sure you have a good burn - I find that burning at 4x can result in one or two tiny glitches in the video.

    Just out of interest, were the original AVIs bad quality too? I'm just wondering because TMPGEnc converting to DVD rarely makes a bad job of video.

    AVI codec says 36% 8) 8)
    plus i been over em a few times
    the ,ah the mpeg file is %80 n i didnt use slow on the encode tmpgenc
    (not burnt yet)
    the 1 i done the vob's look good on the pc but onthe tv it grabs

    maybe i should encode n burn slower
