Hi Everyone,
I'm sure that those who have ever made some attempts to convert to or from PAL noticed ZZZZZ type of vertical line distortion that is evident in fast panning scenes or any fast movement.
Could anyone please explain the mechanics of this problem and major contributing factors? Remedies appreciated of course as well.
Even though movie may be displayed OK on a PC screen, playing such DVD on a TV will reveal it easily. PC playback incorporates more soficticated filters that prevent it. So, what is present on a PC and missing in MPEG2/DVD playback on a TV screen?
Thanks.
