problems making vcd's with nero 6

Hi,

I am new to making vcd and have tried to make vcd's with nero. The problem is that after I click burn, during the encoding stage the computer gives the message that 'this program has performed an illegal operation and will be closed down'. Pls can someone help me.

im sure im not alone in saying that nero should never be left to do the encodeing ever!!!!!!!!! what type of file is the input file for the vcd?? mpeg or avi etc? if its an mpeg id suggest running it through tmpgenc or the like to make it standard compliant if its avi let us know

it is a mix. Mostly avi.

Plus you are running WIN 98. Not a stable operating system in this day and age. It was never designed to do the type of video and support the software currently in use. The blue screen of death will always show itself. Time to upgrade your OS and get stablity back in your life.
