I've been hearing a lot about the new profile used in TMPGEnc saying that it can be use to create VCD >80mins.
I just want to confirm if the files created by these settings will be compaitible with normal VCD player without DVD?
It can be make into cue/bin by VCDImager. But I have no VCD player with me right now. So I can't test it out.
Anyone got answers?

Some of those templates use mpeg2. These definitely will not play on a vcd player. The other templates that use mpeg1 still do not produce compliant vcds. I believe most vcd players are very strict about compliance so my guess would be that they wont play properly but the only way to know for sure is to try and see.

Adam is right, VCD Players are very strict and don't support non-standard formats, even if it's just VBR and the rest is identical, in 99% of the cases as far as I know, it will not work.
