Hello,
I've recently formatted my computer, and just tried playing DVD's using Windows Media Player. The DVD began to play, then seemed to stop with just a black screen. So I thought I needed to install a/another dvd decoder, so I installed XPack(WinDVD Company).
This gave me a message that I already had a decoder on the machine, but I continued anyway.
I now have the problem that when I try playing a dvd, the screen goes multi-coloured, and the computer completely freezes. I dont know what it is, but how would I even go about finding out what other dvd decoder is on my machine?, is this the problem?
Thanks
Rob
