Hi, can someone please tell me how to put subtitles on a DVD? I know how to make permanent subtitles that cannot be removed, but I want to have subtitles like on DVD, infact I'm making a DVD and I want to put the subtitles in 2 languages, and also I want them to be removable (again, like DVD Movies have).

    Thanx

  2. The only program i know that will do this is I-Author but your dvd player has to support soft subtitles, which means subtitles you can turn off and on. Not that many dvd players support this. Check your player on this site to see if it does.

  4. Are you talking about making a DVD or a VCD/SVCD? If you have DVD authoring software you can set selectable subtitles. For x(S)VCD the only program I know that will do this is I-author (good luck trying to find it), and most stand alones don't support (ie. can't read) them. I don't think any DVD-ROMs can, but you can give it a try

Yes I want to make a DVD, but I also need instructions or something on how to make it.
All of the DVD players I've seen can support removable subtitles.
