Ok Im using Window movi make 2 and i like the way it shows every thing on the tape in a few windows so you can easyly find what you recorded on your tape and make a cd. But now i got a DVD recorder and i want to make my other one in dvd but i like to find a easy soft with the same type of use that windows movi maker so i cant easyly put all my cassette in order. I find that with windows MM2 i wasn't able to do some fine tuning for the capture so mabe i like a soft that can give me those options like to be able to ajust the bite rate and plus.

If you are happy with the functionality and features of WMM2 then I would stick with it.
The capture of a tape (DV Tape - I assume) is a direct data transfer. WMM2 does nothing except extract the avi file off the tape and put it on the HDD. If you still want to edit then you will probably want to keep it in AVI format until that is done.
You can then create a new AVI file on you HDD from your edited footage. (save to PC - additional formats AVI DV.
I then use TMPGEnc to convert the AVI to DVD MP2 and and TMPGenc Author burn the disk structure and menus. These would be the extra pieces of software you need.
You would adjust the bitrate in TMPGenc prior to processing.
