Does anyone in this forum use Nero as a do-it-all, instead of pre-processing files w/ something like v-dub? having used v-dub, winmpg, blaze media, etc i know Nero is not the best choice for file conversion but i often compulsively burned CD's sucessfully using Nero alone from start to finish. however...

When an error occurs while burning a VCD or SVCD with Nero (v5.x and 6.x), I find it frustrating, after having resoved a burn issue, only to have to wait for an encoding process to take place yet again. Is there a way to get around this issue other than to burn an Image on the hard drive?

Can Nero be set to default-- save the temp files, but discard only after successful burn? (i'm assuming there is a temp file made during the "encoding" process... is there a way to re-open it if we need to re-burn?)
