  1. Hello all, I'm new on this website and new on VCD format. I need to burn VCD from files that I download from the internet. I used nero and adaptec to burn it. some files nero did not accept so I demultiplex and multiplex it so nero accepted it. But after I burn the VCD and put it into my DVD player, the picture is great but the sound is skip and jump. Please help. Thank you.

Maybe the sound is still 48kHz sample rate and your player dont like it.
Demux again, decompress the audio, downsample/ reencode to
    44,1kHZ 224kbps. Multiplex.
    Hope this helps.

  4. Tyr mp3decode & mp3egsuite to convert to wav, then use lame or tmpgenc to encode to mp2.

    Demux with TMPG.
Decompress the audio with VirtualDub. For AVI, DivX,ASF use Virtualdub, first select File->Open Video File to
open the video and last select File->Save WAV. If it's a DivX or ASF you maybe want to convert the audio to
WAV PCM then select Uncompressed PCM under Audio->Compression and be sure to select Audio->Full
    Processing before saving.
Reencode (audio only) with TMPG to 44,1kHz, 224 kbps
    Multiplex with TMPG or bbMPEG.

Have you tried to use "Simple Multiplex" only. When I use De-multiplex, it seems to mess my files up and also causes audio/video synch problems.
