  1. I have a divx movie that wont play in media player. Gspot says the file is truncated? Someone told me to try video lan. I tried that and it works, yay. But i want to convert it to vcd and tmpge wont let me. I get this box saying "index of scan line is out of range(256)". Anyone have a clue wut I can do

    Can you open it with VirtualDub?

    If so you could try checking for errors, then saving out as a new AVI.

    You could also try frameserving to TMPGEnc from VDub

    It's corrupted. You have to fix it before it will play(use VDUB). Actually it sounds like it's not finished downloading.

  4. K well i opened it with vdub and figuered out how to frameserve. Well it did finish dl'ing according to BT. How do I fix it with vdub.

  5. could also try divfix

    when you go to convert to ensure that you dont have additional problems (you probably will with the type of video you downloaded). Download a copy of the divx codec pack and also the xvid codec.

    After installing those, use dvd2svcd to convert to vcd,cvd,svcd, or dvd.
