Just like everyone else, or most of us, I burn my VCD/SVCD using Nero Burning ROM. But the thing I don't like is when I play it in my DVD player, it always show up the PBC (PlayBack Controls) on the display on my DVD Player. I prefer seeing the playback time and track number, so everytime I play a VCD/SVCD, I always have to manually choose Track 1, then it'll show the time/track #.

Is there anyway to disable PBC... like in the burning process with Nero? Is PBC somewhat related to VCD 2.0 Standards?

Why would you want to disable PBC? PBC allows you to interact with your menus. One of my DVD players displays "PBC" while the other displays the running time of the MPEG track, both while PBC is on -- so my guess is that function is machine-specific. On my player that displays "PBC" I can display the time on the television screen if I desire, but thats annoying

I want to watch the movie, not the counter.
