  1. I wonder that HD-Burn'ed disc's transfer rate. Depending SANYO, It have to be 2xCD speed. For 40xCD read speed (DD0203) it must be read HD-BURNED CD's as 80xCD. But i don't think it's read as fast as 80x.

    Is some one mesaure transfer rate? (Kbyte/sec) If it's 80x then Transfer rate nearly 12Mb/s...

    But I want REAL READ transfer rate of "OPTORITE DD0203 HD-BURN'ed disc's". I think it is clear what I said...

    Can anyyone measure that who has purchased DD0203?

    "HD-BURN'ed". I was edit only this...

    I don't need argue with you. If you don't have DD0203, then you don't reply this post ok? Is it clear now?

    Hello!

    Good question. Sanyo (patent holder) claims read speeds are limited only by the read speed of the drive itself, with projected maximum read speeds of 80X and write speeds of 32X on CD-R. So, the Optorite drive should read an HD-Burn'd disc at 40X.

    I don't remember there being any noticeable difference between the drive reading a CD-R and an HD-Burn disc. Then again, I couldn't tell you for sure right now because both machines are down until the end of the week.

    Regardless, I highly recommend this drive.
