I've read where certain problems exist with certain codec packs leading to wierd discoloration (blue/pink overtoned hues), but only on avi files. I have this problem with an asf. I uninstalled all codec packs I got, and reinstalled the individual codecs, but I still get the blue people - regardless of the player. Tips, suggestions?

I would suggest downloading and installing the WIndows Media codecs again from MSs site. Also, if it's just one ASF file and not all of them, it oculd just be the result of an error made during encoding.
