i dont want to get in to specifics, but is dvdrhelp making enough money from ad's to pay for the massive amounts of bandwith it uses and other costs?

if yes, is baldrick getting rich off us? (we'll be rich, rich as nazi's!)

just curious.. this site has been an invaluable source of knowledge to me.. and i wouldnt mind contributing $5 or $10 if its struggling.. not that it would solve the financial problems, but maybe it would motivate the cheapasses around here to give too.

for now though, i will go click on on all the ad's.. everyone reading this should do the same thing..

I remember reading last month that delph.stuff had received something like 1 donation for every 100,000 downloads. I was dumbfounded.

I made a committment to myself to donate something each month I was involved with this website. I felt it would be wrong for me to openly bash the freeloaders who infect this site without doing something to contribute in a meaninful way. So I decided money is probably more valuable to the site than my knowledge in the hobby, which is growing but still nowhere near what others have demonstrated.

I was very surprised to find there was no membership fee; the amount of useful information is tremendous, and the 'social' scene is not too bad.

I hope very much that dvdrhelp.com is doing well.

if the site is struggling, i'll do my part and donate some cashish.. but if its doing fine with ad revenue then my contributions (post wise) are fine..
