    HI guys. I cant get anything that Ive encoded with Divx 3.11 to play. I have everything set up right. I run Friggin flask mpeg in WIn98/ME mode and I still cant play the file it creates with divx. On the other hand XP is great with VD and Avi capture off of ATI card. ANy ideas. I think I'll try Divx 4.0. ANy help is appreciated. Thanks.

    I dont have XP, but I have no doubt Microsoft encoded XP to disable any installation of DivX 3.11. When I switched from Win98 to WinME, suddenly the old DeCSS had been permanently disabled (not that its too practical to use on the latest releases, but its the priciple). I suspect the WindowsUpdate feature "patches" things, not to enable a smoother operation system, but to deter piracy.
