  1. I'm trying to make a vcd with vcdeasy but i keep getting this message
    invalid mpeg packet found at packet# 118070 -- please fix this mpeg file!

    I've tried to fix it with TMPGEnc and MPEG-Correcter but that didn't work
    and in the FAQ section it says to try with BBMPEG for MPEG2 but I have a MPEG1 file so what should I do? Should I try it anyway? And if it still doesn't fixed it is there another program I can try?

    Please help me because I don't know what else to do!

    MPEGREPAIR, but it's thousands $$$.
    Otherwise, re-encode.
    I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

  3. Have a look at this posting:

    It should work for mpg's as well.

    Best,

    @timmyp: I'm not sure that Vdub can scan for bad frames in an mpeg unless you use Vdub-mpeg2. Even then, I don't think it can save it back as an mpeg.

    @j_t: Try this guide.

    Good luck!

  5. VCDGear, no $$$. It usually does the job.
