  1. Anyone want to share the specs of the most non-compliant VCD or SVCD they created and whether anything could play it. I actually got my Sampo DVD player to play the following XSVCD. Authored it with VCDEasy.

    Video: Mpeg 2
    Audio: Mpeg audio (mpeg1 layer 2) 48 khz
    Resolution: 352 x 480
    Bitrate: 1650 VBR
    Aspect ratio: 16:9

    Actually those spec's would be called a CVD w/ low bitrate (XCVD?).

  3. I used the CVD resolution and thus many people would call it a CVD but since I authored it with a SVCD program I think that technically it is a XSVCD. A true CVD apparently has a slightly different file sytem. But since I've never found a commercial CVD yet nor found a program that claims to use the true CVD spec, I cannot say for sure.
