  1. hi all
    Sorry for the english
I've a sort of problem with encoding anime videos with avi extension to svcd.i' wan't to know where i can find goods anime template for tmpgenc,i'm italian adn i have a pal tv configuration of 25fpsecond ,but anime have generally a ntsc configuration of 23.976.the problem is the suxcession of frames in the panoramics view wich are no goods.
someone use this configuration but i don't know why:
    Select the MPEG-2 stream type
    The video size is 480x480
Make sure that the framerate is 23.976 and that "3:2 Pulldown" is selected
    Set Rate Control to CQ
    Make sure Interlaced it checked
Under the Video tab, select the same DC precision that your source file had (you wrote this down earlier, remember?)
    Enter your calculated bitrate.
Set the VBV buffer to at least 112.
You probably want to select Super-High Quality.
Under the Advanced tab, make sure that your display is set to "Full Screen" and NOT "Full screen with aspect".
Make sure that your source is "Not Interlaced!"
Make sure that Field Order is set to Odd Field
Under Matrix, make sure to check Soften Macro-block Noise. This will help during high-motion scenes.

please help me i'm really confuse

  2. You should use dvd2svcd in combination with cinemacraft 2.50. Set video encoding to 4 passes and the quality will be way better then 2-pass with TMPGEnc. Plus it will take less time to encode and you can add subtitles wich will automaticly be converted. Good luck!!

  3. I'm also encoding anime eps from avi to svcds. Anytime i fast forward or rewind the video stays still and the audio starts from the location i rewound or fast forward too. I'm been using the "how to" guides on the website. The encoded file will play thru without any problem (i can even pause and unpause not have a problem with it). I only have a problem with the rewind or fast fast forward feature. I use SVCD2DVD+ and Tmpegnc to encode my files.
