I am encoding a vid now from PAL SVCD to NTSC it seems like it will take a long time... Is there anyway I can stop and resume tommorrow?

Most people allow the machine to run overnight. They all take a good few hours, any where from 6 to 48, depending on machine speed. Sometimes I think if they didn't run unattended, there would be fewer of us doing this. Go to bed, burn it in the AM.
