hi! im an avid fan of win moviemaker 2. i use it for home movies often. well my latest project is captured, edited, encoded and ive authored it. it came out very pixeled and not as clear as i usually get. i thought it was an encoding problem but after looking over everything i see that my dv-avi that i captured was capped at 360x240. i reset all the options and chose 720x480 and re capped and it happened again! i saved the movie to 720x480 and it saved it as 640x352 or something like that, well no wonder tempgenc is getiing a pixeled output!
any ideas why this is happening? ive gone over the settings repeatedly and i cant capture at 720!
well let me add this i just tried to capture in premiere also 720x480 and it capped again 360x240! im using the microsoft compressor dv and there is no way to change that that i can see! i used to cap just fine! whats happening!!
