    I downloaded some Friends episodes in avi format but can't open them.
    I used GSpot to see which codec was used, but Gspot says it's an invalid avi file.
    How can I fix this???

    First of all, i'm assuming everything you have done is legal.... If you got it from a filesharing network it's quite possible it might be a fake, have had a lot of those going around lately.
