  1. Ohh, okay, I think I get it now:

    The .cue file contains information about what to use for data mode, where tracks start and stop, etc. just like you said.

    The .bin file contains the MPEG2 file, folders required for making a compliant SVCD, and files required for making an SVCD.

    Is this correct?

    (Oh, and I fixed my muxing problem too! Good for me!)

  2. Just to clear somthing up -

    The cue/bin files have nothing to do with s/vcd. These files are used by your CD burning software to burn the disk. The Bin is a "mirror" image, if you like, of the information to be burned to the CD. The cue file, as someone else mentioned contains info for the TOC, Table of Contents. You could make cue/bin files for any CD - Data, Audio and Video.
