Hi,
There are two versions listed of AVIcodec, with no way for me to tell which is what.
Which version should I download? Are they different?
The versions listed are V1.09 and V1.00.
I realize one is a later version, just not sure which to pick.

What "avicodec" are you talking about?Avi is just a container file type,it can contain a lot of different made video.They can distinguished by the FÓURCC, a 4 letter code, which tells the player, with what codec the video was encoded.

I was refering to the software utility listed under "Useful Tools" on this site.
I'm new at this, just downloaded TMPGenc and was reading ahead to some possible problems, such as TMPGenc not being able to open certain files. I thought the tool listed would be of some help.
