  1. hello.
I have a bunch of mpeg music videos that i want to put onto dvd. Im not sure what converting tool I need to use to change the format of these files and exactly what format they need to be in.
If anyone can help or at least point me to an earlier post that would be great.
    Thanks VoodooEvil

if you get TMPGEnc from the Tools section, it can convert to dvd-compliant mpg for you, just select it in the wizard that opens up.

the mpeg2 encoder is only good for a 30-day trial, though, due to liscensing issues, after that you have to register the copy ($50 - still pretty cheap for a decent encoder software).

And if you want to get really technical, there are plenty of guides in the Convert section on how to get the most out of TMPGEnc. But for just "I have these files and I want to burn them easy", use the wizard, you'll be fine.

  3. TMPEG has a compliant for DVD's. When the wizard is promted up, choose DVD NTSC/PAL depending on what is used. Open up the MPEG file you want to convert. After this, repeat for all the MUSIC Videos you have and make sure you have enough space for all of them. Then with Nero, or any other program, burn it as a DVD or SVCD. I don't know how to burn as DVD VIDEO.
