  1. Hello:

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem...

    Using a Panasonic LF-D321 burning to DVD-R

    IC7 v.091 (boxed version)
Burns the DVD-R without a problem

    IC7 v.114 and v.119
Begins to burn and stops after about 4megs written.
The program freezes and I have to reboot to remove the DVD-R

This problem persists whether you update the Registry with the
user hacks or not. Tried to use DVD Decrypter as the new version
3.1.5.0 supports pdi burning but as luck would have it this new
version of Decrypter has a bug and also errors out. This problem
with DVD Decrypter v. 3.1.5.0 and RAM/-R drives is known by the author.

I'm working on installing both IC7 v.091 and v.119 but it's kind of
messy getting the HIDDEN REGISTRY EDITOR to to recognize the presence of v.119
as it's only finding v.091. But I'm still working on this.

PS. I really don't want to add steps to the proceedure by using PDI
EXRACT or PDI to ISO. I could use only IC7 v.091 but I've been
having success with file sizes etc. using v.119 with the Registry Hacks.

  2. Ok...I have v.091 and v.119 installed at the same time and the HIDDEN SETTINGS EDITOR is pointed to v.119 so I have a work around. But would still like to know if anyone else experienced problems burning after upgrading the proggie.

  4. Thanks for the reply mrbass, but as I said above...my Panasonic drive is not supported by DVD Decrypter 3.1.5.0 due to a Decrypter s/w bug.

  5. well then looks like you have no choice. Use pdi2iso (I know you wish to avoid this step) as for me it takes 4 mins. Don't use PDITOOL as it takes 22mins.

  6. Geeze...I didn't realize PDI2ISO was that fast. I will try it out.

ps...mrbass your guides are top notch and have helped me many times
over. Thanks so much for taking the time to post them.
