  1. (currently trying avisynth with Tmpgenc)

I've encoded many types of files with Tmpgenc without problem. The only problem that came was these Xvid clips. Whenever I tried to encode them with Tmpgenc, Tmpgenc simply hangs there or gives the error message "read error at ********* in kernel.dll" (something like that). I've heard framserving can eliminate incompatibility problems like that, so I tried both VDub and avisynth framserves. But encoding the frameserved file also resulted in the hanging at startup.
And yes I had no problem playing it in WMP or VDub
So I have a choice to make:
    1. Finding ways to let Tmpgenc encode on its own (done that with DivX3.11)(time required to encode: 1x)
    2. Getting the frameserve to work. (Time required: 1.5x)
    3. Converting to DivX first in Vdub before encoding. (Time: 2x)
    4. Leaving it to my trusty Panasonic encoder which seemed to encode all files without a problem. (But time required: 3x and degrades colour, sometimes causing artifect especially at areas with shading)

3,4 I can do it without a problem, but I want to encode faster. If anyone can teach me how to encode Xvid directly with Tmpgenc pls teach me... I'm begging you
    I encode, therefore I am
