  1. hi, and thanks!
have my videos created and the VCD image created with vcdimager (.bin and .cue files)

BUT both my cd-writer program and cdrdao can't burn the cd from the .cue file (unespecified error). STILL i can select "don't use .cue file" and write only the .bin, and that works.

BUT none of my VCDs work (none on software or DVD player). And i wonder if i do something wrong with the video or if the .cue is absolutely necessary.

Can it be because of useing only the .bin or it should be enough??

    THANKS!

  2. What is the program that you are using to burn it ?

  3. You need to get a copy of Daemon tools and load your .bin as a virtual drive.

  4. My computer is a AthlonXP 1700, 1Gb DDR, 40Gb HD.
It's mounting Linux OS, Cinelerra video editing/MPG coding, mplex to multiplex video and audio, vcdimager to create the VCD image (.cue and .bin) and cdrdao to burn the cd. I have also tried to burn with KIIIB, the new KDE GUI for burning. That usually works well for me, but i never wrote cd images before.

thanks for the reply, looks like this forum has quite an actyivity!
