I'm trying to rip audio from a DivX file so that I can use the extracted *.wav file with TMPGEnc to create a DVD *.mpg file, and when i open the DivX file in VirtualDub (Version 1.5.0/build 15584), I get an error message stating, "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'MP43' (Microsoft High-Speed MPEG-4 V3) VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, sucs as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable." Now, I've downloaded the ffdshow.exe program here in the tools section from codec/filters list, and installed it and it still wont let me open the file. what should I do? I've opened other DivX movies in VitualDub before and they've worked.Whats going on??
