I have a choice. Take a XVID at 23.976 with tag 2000 audio and have it coded at 23.976 with 3:2 pulldown OR.....
Code the movie as 29 FPS using mainconcept frame rate conversion
Does coding the movie at 29FPS make the DVD player work less since it does not need to do the 3:2 flag stuff. Does that mean I get less jerky since the frame rate is "hard coded".
I heard that 29 uses more space that a film at 23.976 with 3:2 flags.....is that true?
so far mainconcept is fantastic with virtualdub doing the avi frameserving.
accepts xvid and tag 2000 codec issues (use koepi xvid 10/4/2002 codec and the ac3 filter).
Nero says the movie is not compliant...but it burns fine anyway.
